The 2022 NFL Draft will start on Thursday, April 28, and will take place in Las Vegas, so it is sure to be a festive atmosphere.

It should be a good night for the SEC, too. Once again, more than a dozen SEC players are in the mix to be chosen in Round 1.

On Monday, CBS Sports analyst Ryan Wilson released his updated 3-round mock draft, and he had 12 SEC guys going in Round 1:

  • No. 4 — Travon Walker, DL, Georgia — New York Jets
  • No. 6 — Charles Cross, OL, Mississippi State — New York Giants
  • No. 12 — Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU — Minnesota Vikings
  • No. 15 — Jordan Davis, DL, Georgia — Philadelphia Eagles
  • No. 16 — Matt Corral, QB, Ole Miss — New Orleans Saints
  • No. 17 — Kenyon Green, OL, Texas A&M — Los Angeles Chargers
  • No. 19 — Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama — New Orleans Saints
  • No. 20 — Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas — Pittsburgh Steelers
  • No. 28 — Nakobe Dean, LB, Georgia — Green Bay Packers
  • No. 29 — Devonte Wyatt, DL, Georgia — Kansas City Chiefs
  • No. 31 — Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida — Cincinnati Bengals
