14 SEC players projected to go in Round 1 of CBS Sports’ latest 2019 NFL Mock Draft

The 2019 NFL Draft is coming up quickly, and we’re sure to see more than a few SEC players hear their names called in Round 1.

In CBS Sports analyst Ryan Wilson’s latest mock draft, he has 14 SEC standouts going over the course of the first 32 picks.

As you can see below, he has Kentucky LB Josh Allen going No. 2, with Alabama LB Mack Wilson wrapping up the SEC’s first-round picks at No. 29:

  • No. 2 — Josh Allen, Edge, Kentucky — San Francisco 49ers
  • No. 3 — Quinnen Williams, DL, Alabama — New York Jets
  • No. 6 — Drew Lock, QB, Mizzou — New York Giants
  • No. 7 — Greedy Williams, DB, LSU — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • No. 9 — Jeffery Simmons, DL, Mississippi State — Buffalo Bills
  • No. 11 — Devin White, LB, LSU — Cincinnati Bengals
  • No. 13 — Jachai Polite, Edge, Florida — Miami Dolphins
  • No. 15 — Deionte Thompson, DB, Alabama — Green Bay Packers
  • No. 17 — Jonah Williams, OL, Alabama — Cleveland Browns
  • No. 19 — D.K. Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss — Tennessee Titans
  • No. 20 — Deandre Baker, DB, Georgia — Pittsburgh Steelers
  • No. 21 — Montez Sweat, DL, Mississippi State — Seattle Seahawks
  • No. 27 — Josh Jacobs, RB, Alabama — Oakland Raiders
  • No. 29 — Mack Wilson, LB, Alabama — Kansas City Chiefs

With the NFL Combine coming up in February, we’ll see how these top prospects perform and if they improve their draft stock.
