Everywhere you look on the field at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday afternoon, there will be NFL-caliber players.
Both Alabama and LSU sport a number of elite athletes and potential 2020 first-round NFL Draft picks. Therefore, a number of NFL teams are sending scouts to watch the action.
Per 247Sports reporter Charlie Potter, 16 NFL teams (half the league) have scouts in attendance at the game, and there are 22 total seats saved for scouts:
NFL teams with seats in the press box for #Alabama-LSU include:
Ravens
Bills (2)
Bengals
Browns
Broncos
Lions
Jaguars
Chargers
Rams
Dolphins (3!)
Raiders
Eagles
Steelers
49ers (2)
Seahawks (2)
Redskins (2)— Charlie Potter (@Charlie_Potter) November 9, 2019
As crazy as it is to see 16 teams represented, perhaps the even stranger thing to note is that half of the NFL teams don’t have anyone at this game.
With how many future NFL players will be on the field this afternoon, this is a game that might look a lot like a Sunday matchup.
