2 SEC programs named in ESPN’s 10 greatest CFB uniforms

As part of the 150th anniversary of college football, ESPN panels have been voting on various “best of all-time lists.” This week, the topic is uniforms.

On Thursday, ESPN shared a list of “The Greatest Uniforms.” The list doesn’t appear to follow any strict set of rules, as some teams are listed (indicating full uniforms), while for other programs, some iconic pieces of the uniform are on the list. Two SEC programs – Alabama and LSU – make the 11-item list:

As with most lists, there is sure to be plenty of debate and a number of CFB fans left feeling that their team was unfairly snubbed.

While Oregon’s numerous combinations have become a big part of the Ducks’ “brand,” it’s clear that the ESPN panel preferred more traditional looks.
