SEC fans will be awfully busy throughout the holiday season, as 12 of the 14 member institutions are playing in bowl games.

Most everyone is paying close attention to Alabama in the College Football Playoff, of course. The Crimson Tide are the lone unbeaten team in the country and heavy favorites to win a fifth national title in eight seasons.

But there are handful of other matchups worth paying attention to that will have no bearing on any sort of championship. Nebraska-Tennessee should be interesting in the Music City Bowl. The same can be said of Georgia Tech-Kentucky in the TaxSlayer Bowl. Iowa-Florida in the Outback Bowl, however, might not be much fun.
