The nation’s most prestigious college football awards are starting to announce their finalists.
On Thursday, the 5 finalists for the Walter Camp National Player of the Year award were announced.
As you can see below, 2 SEC stars — Alabama QB Bryce Young and Georgia DT Jordan Davis — were among those 5 finalists:

Those 2 SEC standouts will compete with Michigan DE Aidan Hutchinson, Pitt QB Kenny Pickett and Michigan State RB Kenneth Walker III for the prestigious honor.
Could this also be a look at the potential Heisman Trophy finalists? All of those guys have a strong case to be invited to New York City for the Heisman ceremony.
