Four games take center stage at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena Friday for the SEC Basketball Tournament quarterfinals.

The top four seeds — No. 1 LSU, No. 2 Kentucky, No. 3 Tennessee and No. 4 South Carolina — will all be in action for the first time this week.

Through two rounds, only one upset has taken place. No. 10 Alabama beat No. 7 Ole Miss Thursday night 62-57. The Crimson Tide’s defense held the Rebels’ offense to just 19 second-half points, a complete Ole miss collapse after having a 14-point halftime lead. Nonetheless, Alabama receives a date with No. 2 Kentucky Friday.

Two NCAA Tournament bubble teams — No. 8 Florida and No. 10 Alabama — both won, and because of it, eight SEC teams are likely to make the tournament.
