The 2022 NFL Draft begins in a couple of days in Las Vegas, and when it does, it will certainly feature several SEC standouts going in Round 1 on Thursday night.

On Tuesday, CBS Sports analyst Adam Aizer released his latest Round 1 mock draft, and he projects 11 SEC stars to go in the first 32 picks.

As you can see below, he has SEC guys bookending the first round, with Georgia’s Travon Walker going No. 1 overall and Ole Miss QB Matt Corral going No. 32 overall:

  • No. 1 — Travon Walker, DL, Georgia — Jacksonville Jaguars
  • No. 5 — Evan Neal, OL, Alabama — New York Giants
  • No. 6 — Charles Cross, OL, Mississippi State — Carolina Panthers
  • No. 8 — Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama — Atlanta Falcons
  • No. 10 — Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU — New York Jets
  • No. 15 — Jordan Davis, DL, Georgia — Philadelphia Eagles
  • No. 17 — Devonte Wyatt, DL, Georgia — Los Angeles Chargers
  • No. 22 — Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas — Green Bay Packers
  • No. 26 — Kenyon Green, OL, Texas A&M — Tennessee Titans
  • No. 28 — Nakobe Dean, LB, Georgia — Green Bay Packers
  • No. 32 — Matt Corral, QB, Ole Miss — Detroit Lions

We don’t have to wait long to see if these predictions come true. The draft begins with Round 1 on Thursday night. Rounds 2 and 3 will be held on Friday night and Rounds 4-7 take place on Saturday.
