Every year, the NFL Network ranks the top-100 players in the league heading into that coming season.

Once again, the list was dominated by former SEC stars. In fact, with 23 entries on the list, the conference produced nearly a quarter of the players named.

On Monday night, NFL Network hosted a special to reveal the order of the top-10 players on the list. Three SEC players — Todd Gurley II, Julio Jones and Von Miller — were among those ranked, and you can see where all 23 players rank below:

  • No. 92 — Landon Collins, S, New York Giants — Alabama
  • No. 87 — Andrew Whitworth, OL, Los Angeles Rams — LSU
  • No. 77 — Odell Beckham Jr., WR, New York Giants — LSU
  • No. 76 — Melvin Ingram, DE, Los Angeles Chargers — South Carolina
  • No. 73 — Thomas Davis, LB, Carolina Panthers — Georgia
  • No. 69 — Fletcher Cox, DL, Philadelphia Eagles — Mississippi State
  • No. 63 — Geno Atkins, DL, Cincinnati Bengals — Georgia
  • No. 59 — Casey Hayward, CB, Los Angeles Chargers — Vanderbilt
  • No. 58 — Leonard Fournette, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars — LSU
  • No. 52 — Jarvis Landry, WR, Cleveland Browns — LSU
  • No. 49 — Darius Slay, DB, Detroit Lions — Mississippi State
  • No. 43 — Mark Ingram, RB, New Orleans Saints — Alabama
  • No. 32 — Jadeveon Clowney, DE, Houston Texans — South Carolina
  • No. 31 — Matthew Stafford, QB, Detroit Lions — Georgia
  • No. 25 — Cam Newton, QB, Carolina Panthers — Auburn
  • No. 23 — Patrick Peterson, CB, Arizona Cardinals — LSU
  • No. 22 — A.J. Green, WR, Cincinnati Bengals — Georgia
  • No. 20 — Alvin Kamara, RB, New Orleans Saints — Tennessee
  • No. 9 — Von Miller, LB/DE, Denver Broncos — Texas A&M
  • No. 6 — Todd Gurley II, RB, Los Angeles Rams — Georgia
  • No. 4 — Julio Jones, WR, Atlanta Falcons — Alabama

Players from nine different SEC teams were represented on the list, with the only schools not included being Kentucky, Ole Miss, Mizzou, Arkansas and Florida.

With so many talented SEC players entering the league this fall, the conference could command 25 spots or more in 2019.
