In Super Bowl 50, the SEC was well-represented, as former Tennessee QB Peyton Manning led the Denver Broncos to a victory over ex-Auburn QB Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers.

For good measure, former Texas A&M star Von Miller took home the game’s MVP award.

This year, more SEC players will be featured in the game, thanks to some roster consistencies between all four remaining AFC teams.

According to AL.com, every remaining AFC playoff squad — the New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, Pittsburgh Steelers and Houston Texans — all have at least one player from three different SEC schools.

Auburn, Georgia and LSU will all be represented in the game. Auburn has DBs Jonathan Jones and Brandon King on the Pats, LB Dee Ford on the Chiefs, WR Sammie Coates on the Steelers and FB Jay Prosch on the Texans.

Georgia has WR Malcolm Mitchell and C David Andrews on the Patriots, WR Chris Conley and LBs Justin Houston and Ramik Wilson on the Chiefs, LB Jarvis Jones on the Steelers and LB Akeem Dent and S Corey Moore.

LSU, meanwhile, has LB Barkevious Mingo on the Patriots, RB Spencer Ware on the Chiefs, QB Zach Mettenberger on the Steelers and RB Alfred Blue on the Texans.

Tennessee will also likely have a representative in the Super Bowl, as every AFC team but the underdog Texans has a Vol on the roster.
