There are several ways to rank college basketball teams. There’s the AP Poll, the Coaches Poll, the NET Rankings and more.

One of the ways is the ESPN Basketball Power Index, and following the weekend’s action, there were 4 SEC teams that cracked the top 25.

As you can see below, the latest BPI has Alabama leading all SEC teams at No. 11:

  • No. 11 — Alabama
  • No. 13 — Tennessee
  • No. 22 — LSU
  • No. 23 — Arkansas

Baylor, not Gonzaga, is the No. 1 team by these metrics, which is interesting.

Alabama and Arkansas play on Wednesday night, so we’ll see which team picks up a big win in that matchup. The Crimson Tide are No. 6 in the AP Poll.
