Armella, from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has Alabama, Florida, LSU and Florida State in his top group. It’s certainly interesting to see the Gators and Tigers included considering neither program has a full-time head coach at this time.
Listed at 6-6, 295, Armella is rated 4-stars, the No. 5 IOL, No. 18 Florida recruit and No. 127 prospect overall nationally on the 247Sports Composite. Armella’s recruiting profile lists Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt among his other scholarship offers.
