A 4-star running back from the 2022 cycle has narrowed his list of potential teams to 2.

For Georgia native and East Paulding HS runner Justin Williams, it’ll either be Tennessee or Auburn. Williams announced his final 2 schools on Twitter Tuesday morning, signaling he intends to stay in SEC country.

Williams took an official visit to Auburn this past weekend. He has an official to Tennessee scheduled for this upcoming weekend. He was previously committed to West Virginia (dating back to July) but left the Mountaineer class on Nov. 17, just a few days after taking an unofficial visit to Tennessee for the Georgia game. He was back in Knoxville the following weekend on another unofficial visit.

A 6-foot, 205-pound tailback, Williams is a 4-star and the No. 31 player at his position, according to the 247Sports Composite. He’s the 31st player in his state and No. 348 nationally. Both the Tigers and Vols already have a running back commit in their 2022 classes; should Williams pick Rocky Top he’d be the higher-rated player of the 2.
