It will come as no surprise for fans to learn one of the top 2020 recruits out of Alabama has strong interest in playing in the SEC.
Eddie “E.J.” Williams, a 4-star wide receiver, shared a top 12 with nine SEC schools (Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Florida, LSU and Arkansas). Williams says the 12 have no order, though the Notes screenshot tweeted has the schools numbered 1-12.
Despite having interest in nine SEC schools in the top 12, Williams could still land in another conference. The first school mentioned on his list is Clemson, where two 247Sports recruiting experts predict Williams will sign. The site’s Composite rankings list the Central (Phenix City, Ala.) product as the No. 7 Alabama recruit, No. 41 wide receiver and No. 216 prospect overall in the 2020 class.
