Auburn is currently No. 10 in the College Football Playoff rankings and still has a shot to make the final four.

However, to do that, the Tigers will have to beat No. 1 Georgia this weekend when the Bulldogs visit Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Ahead of the big SEC East-West rivalry, coach Gus Malzahn has been asked about the Bulldogs several times.

Here are four things he had to say about Saturday’s huge game this week:

On Georgia’s great defense:

“We had a big road win last week, feel good about how we won that one. Finished strong in the 4th quarter. Big challenge this week. They have the talent that goes with that. Defensively, they have no weakness.”

On Georgia LB Lorenzo Carter:

“He’s very talented, first of all. He has talent all around him. It’s tough to focus on one player because of all the talent there.”

On embracing the challenge of playing the No. 1 team:

“You’ve gotta embrace the fact you’re playing the No. 1 or No. 2 team in the country on your home field. Our goal is still to win the SEC Championship…We’re not looking forward to anything other than Saturday, but it’s a big game for our team.”

On the team being healthier this year than in past years:

“Every year is different, I will say this: we are healthier as a team. Our starting QB is healthy, couldn’t say that the last two years. Our team has a little bit different mindset than last year.”
