Using the 247Sports composite rankings, here’s a look at the top-5 best uncommitted wide receivers targeted by SEC schools.

1. Tyron Johnson, 6-1, 191, New Orleans La., Five-Star (2): Johnson is the No. 1 player from Louisiana, so it should come as no surprise that LSU is a heavy favorite to land the prized recruit. The Tigers have received 75 percent of the 36 crystal ball predictions to earn Johnson’s commitment. The five-star prospect is best at earning yards after the catch, but must improve on his ball skills.

2. Christian Kirk, 5-10, 191, Scottsdale, Ariz., Five-Star (4): Despite hailing from Pac-12 territory, Kirk has two SEC teams on his short list, Texas A&M and Auburn. The Aggies are the favorite, with 80 percent of the crystal ball votes. Kirk’s best attribute is his ability to change directions and ranks above a seven in all skill categories.

3. Damarkus Lodge, 6-2.5, 190, Cedar Hill, Texas, Five-Star (6): Lodge has three SEC teams in his top-10, Ole Miss, LSU and Texas A&M. The Rebels are the expected favorites, with 43 percent of the crystal ball predictions. Lodges’ best skill attributes are his size, hands and ball skills.

4. Da’Vante Phillips, 6-2, 190, Miami, Fla., Four-Star (9): Phillips has both Alabama and Auburn in his top-5 schools of interest. However, the Florida native is expected to stay in-state and join FSU next season. The Seminoles received all 29 crystal ball predictions and are the only team listed as receiving “warmer” interest.

5. Equanimeous St. Brown, 6-5, 205, Anaheim, Calif., Four-Star (10): St. Brown has received offers from nine SEC teams. However, the California native’s top-5 consists of Notre Dame and four Pac-12 schools. St. Brown’s best attribute is his size, receiving a perfect 10 rating by 247Sports.
