One of the most memorable plays in college football history happened outside of the SEC on Saturday, but that doesn’t mean the nation’s best conference didn’t have its own excitement during Week 9.

Sure, nothing was going to stack up against Miami’s multi-lateral, miraculous touchdown. No SEC team had anything close to that. But between a scoop-and-score, a 71-yard touchdown throw and a few impressive runs, there was plenty of action down South.

Here are the five most exciting plays from Week 9:

5. Kelvin Taylor has all the moves

Florida made Georgia look silly all day in Jacksonville, but this Kelvin Taylor 16-yard touchdown made complete fools out of the Bulldogs defense. The Florida running back clearly doesn’t live by the law that you’re supposed to have less space to run the ball in the red zone. Georgia had no chance against Taylor’s moves.

4. Getting the monkey off his back

With Ole Miss playing Auburn for the first time since Laquon Treadwell’s gruesome injury against the Tigers, many were wondering if the Rebels junior receiver would be able to put that traumatic event behind him.

Did he ever. Treadwell some how held onto catch this Ole Miss touchdown even while an Auburn defender was hanging onto his back.

3. Defensive tackle or touchdown machine?

Tennessee was in the red zone and looking to score when Vols QB Joshua Dobbs had the ball stripped from him. Dobbs made up for the lost fumble later, but don’t tell that to C.J. Johnson. The Wildcats defensive tackle scooped the ball and took it 77 yards for the game’s first touchdown. That’s how you run the ball, big man.

2. Deep to Reed

The Razorbacks had a cakewalk win against Tennessee-Martin during their Homecoming. But that doesn’t make this 71-yard touchdown pass from Brandon Allen to Dominique Reed any less impressive.

1. Dobbs ties the game

Not long after he lost a fumble that would be returned for a touchdown, Tennessee quarterback Joshua Dobbs redeemed himself on this impressive touchdown run. No one was going to knock Dobbs out of bounds on this play. This is the type of athleticism that Tennessee fans hope to see more of in the future.
