Alabama’s dominant start has it at the top of most rankings, and that includes the Super 16 Poll, which is compiled by the Football Writers Association of America and the National Football Foundation.

The Crimson Tide received 28 of 46 first-place votes after they improved to 6-0 with a win at Texas A&M on Saturday. Alabama is also ranked No. 1 in the AP Top 25 poll and the Amway Coaches Poll.

LSU is ranked second in the Super 16 Poll, earning seven first-place votes after its impressive home victory over Florida.

Florida, Georgia and Auburn also represent the SEC in the rankings.
