We’re drawing ever closer to the start of the 2022 college football season. Week 0 action kicks off at the end of August, and then the full Week 1 slate takes place over Labor Day weekend.

We already know which teams are expected to be in the mix for the College Football Playoff, but which schools can navigate the regular season undefeated?

Per college football insider Brett McMurphy, 6 schools are expected to be favored in every game they play this fall, including Alabama and Georgia out of the SEC. Ohio State, Oklahoma, Utah and Air Force are the others:

Air Force might seem like a strange addition to the list, but the Falcons only play 1 Power 5 school this year, hosting a rebuilding Colorado squad in Week 2.

Meanwhile, the other 5 schools will be jockeying for spots in the Playoff. Alabama enters the year as the favorite to win it all, and as McMurphy mentions, the Tide and the Buckeyes will likely be double-digit favorites in every game they play.

Can anyone pull off massive upsets of the teams listed above? College football is known to get crazy, so we can expect at least a few of those 6 teams to suffer unexpected losses before all is said and done this fall.
