7 SEC baseball players make D1Baseball’s 2020 preseason All-America first team

The 2020 SEC baseball season is rapidly approaching, and Vanderbilt will get to work trying to defend its national title.

The Commodores will have several key players returning, and indeed, they lead the conference with 3 players named to the D1Baseball.com preseason All-American first team.

The preseason All-American first team came out on Tuesday, and 7 SEC players were listed. Here they all are:

  • Austin Martin, 3B, Vanderbilt
  • Heston Kjerstad, OF, Arkansas
  • Alerick Soularie, OF, Tennessee
  • Emerson Hancock, SP, Georgia
  • Asa Lacy, SP, Texas A&M
  • Kumar Rocker, SP, Vanderbilt
  • Tyler Brown, RP, Vanderbilt
