The 2021 NBA Draft will be here before we know it, and a few SEC players are solidly in the mix to be Round 1 picks.
On Monday, Yahoo’s Krysten Peek updated her 2021 Round 1 mock draft, and she had 7 SEC stars going in the first round.
As you can see below, she has 2 players — Keon Johnson and Moses Moody — going in the lottery. Here are the 7 players she thinks will be Round 1 picks:
- No. 8 — Keon Johnson, G, Tennessee — New Orleans Pelicans
- No. 10 — Moses Moody, G, Arkansas — Orlando Magic
- No. 19 — Isaiah Jackson, F, Kentucky — New York Knicks
- No. 20 — Cam Thomas, G, LSU — Atlanta Hawks
- No. 21 — Tre Mann, G, Florida — New York Knicks
- No. 25 — Jaden Springer, G, Tennessee — Los Angeles Clippers
- No. 26 — Sharife Cooper, G, Auburn — Denver Nuggets
