College football is on hiatus right now. At the moment, we should be finishing up spring practices over the next couple of weeks, but instead, everything has been canceled.

Still, as the 2020 season potentially approaches this fall, there are some early top-25 rankings being released.

This week, Sporting News released its top 25, and as you can see below, 7 SEC squads cracked the rankings:

  • No. 3 — Alabama
  • No. 4 — Georgia
  • No. 5 — LSU
  • No. 10 — Florida
  • No. 11 — Auburn
  • No. 17 — Texas A&M
  • No. 23 — Kentucky

The SEC is going to be loaded again this fall, so it’ll be fun to see which of these teams can work their way into the College Football Playoff discussion as the year progresses.
