A few weeks ago, the Big Ten came out in support of a one-time, penalty-free transfer rule for all student-athletes.

Now, it appears another Power 5 conference also supports that measure as well.

As you can see in the tweet below, the ACC came out in support of the rule on Monday, saying the measure was discussed during the league’s annual winter meetings:

“During the league’s annual winter meetings (February 12-14), the ACC discussed the transfer environment and unanimously concluded that as a matter of principle we support a one-time transfer opportunity for all student-athletes, regardless of sport,” the statement reads. “As a conference, we look forward to continuing the discussion nationally.”

Will other Power 5 conferences soon follow suit? It seems this is the way many feel about the state of transfers in college athletics.
