Just like the rest of college football, the ACC had to call an audible as we inch closer to the start of the 2020 college football season.

The ACC, however, unlike the SEC, the Big Ten and the Pac-12, plan to play one non-conference matchup this fall.

The first game of the ACC’s football takes place between Miami and UAB on Sept. 10, Georgia Tech has decided to keep its game against UCF, Clemson still has an opening on its non-conference schedule on Sept. 19.

That’s the type of year it’s been, as the season is just over a month away from its scheduled start and teams still don’t have their finalised football schedule.
