Talented Class of 2024 wide receiver/cornerback Aeryn Hampton decommitted from Texas on Nov. 30. On Christmas Eve, Hampton released his new and improved top 10, including 3 SEC programs on his list.
Those 3 SEC programs are Alabama, LSU and Ole Miss. There’s plenty more Power 5 representation those 3 will have to battle against, including Oregon, Nebraska, Michigan and Colorado, among others.
Texas also still has a dog in the fight, according to Hampton. He received an offer from Nebraska and Colorado shortly after his original decommitment.

Hampton is considered to be the No. 149 overall player in the Class of 2024 and though he is strong at both positions, rated as the No. 13 cornerback in the cycle per 247Sports. The 5-foot-10, 185-pound athlete hails from Daingerfield, Texas, which is about 100 miles east of Dallas.
There’s a long way to go in Hampton’s recruitment. Where will he end up?
