Alabama, Auburn fans even more excited for Iron Bowl after latest CFP rankings

The Iron Bowl is always a huge game for Alabama and Auburn, but it is given a little extra spice when both teams are highly ranked.
On Tuesday night, that’s exactly what happened in the latest College Football Playoff rankings, as the Crimson Tide remained the No. 1 team in the country and Auburn is at No. 6 for a second-straight week.
That sets up a showdown where if Auburn loses, it’s out. Meanwhile, if Alabama loses, the Tide will be sweating a potential CFP berth. However, it’s not just Alabama and Auburn fans who will be closely watching the Iron Bowl, as the game will have serious implications for other top teams.
