The No. 1 prospect from the state of Georgia has just cut his list down to six schools.

Five-star offensive lineman Amarius Mims announced on Wednesday he’s down to Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida State and Oklahoma.

The 6-foot-7, 315-pound Mims is a top 10 overall prospect nationally, the No. 2 offensive tackle prospect and the highest-rated recruit from Georgia in the 2021 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

The Cochran, Ga., native and Bleckley County High School standout is already committed to playing in the 2021 Under Armour All-American Game when his high school career comes to an end.

Mims has previously announced he plans to announce his college commitment on Aug. 15, now we know the list of six schools that will be in consideration for the five-star lineman.
