College football was back in (nearly) full force this weekend as College GameDay hit the road for the first time this season and games took place from sunrise to sunset across the country with several Power 5 teams playing over the weekend.
While teams from the Southeastern Conference aren’t scheduled to kick off for another two weeks, the league beings play on Saturday, Sept. 26, the AP Poll has updated its rankings after the ACC and Big 12 started their respective seasons this weekend.
If you were unaware, the Big Ten and Pac-12 teams that were previously ranked in the AP poll have been removed from the rankings in this updated edition of the poll.

No Coastal Carolina?
They played a good game but it was Kansas. Not really surprising. I could see them being top 25 if they had a better record last year to get the buzz going in the preseason. They’re not a threat to even win their division in the Sun Belt.
Exactly!! Costal needs to be ranked “based off the body of work they did and NOT, well if Ohio State, Penn State, USC, Washington and or Colorado played….”This entire season is a wash..
I like it, especially with my alma mater sitting there at #19.
Awesome win for your crazy cajuns. Enjoyed watching them kick Iowa State in the teeth.
Ooolala
I jumped on the bandwagon for the cajuns once they took the lead.
Typical early season over-rating of Notre Dame.
I also thought SCAR would get a few votes.
Other than that pretty much what I expected.
Kentucky still rated too low. Should be right behind Tennessee IMHO.
I agree Notre Dame is overrated. The Duke win was much closer than the two scores would suggest. Cutcliffe has done a good job at Duke.
GO ARMY! 79-7 outscoring the opponents through two games. Very well done!
So we received votes last week but not this week?
