AP Poll vs. Coaches Poll: Comparing the Week 5 polls
Seven SEC teams checked in this week’s Associated Press Top 25, the same as the Coaches Poll.
The Florida Gators jumped into the top 25 this week after a thrilling victory over Tennessee Saturday night, and on the heels of Mississippi State’s victory over Auburn, the Bulldogs also jumped back into the rankings.
The AP Poll has Ole Miss ranked at No. 3, while the Coaches Poll has the Rebels ranked No. 5. Both polls rank three SEC teams in the top 10, while four others follow in the top 25.
