AP Preseason Men’s Basketball Poll: 5 SEC teams ranked in Top 25

The AP Preseason Men’s Basketball Poll is out, and that means college hoops season is right around the corner!

There are a number of intriguing SEC teams this year, including last year’s defending regular-season and SEC Tournament champions, Alabama. Also, Arkansas, Auburn, Kentucky, Florida, Tennessee and others should be highly entertaining. It truly could be a wide-open year for the league.

In Monday’s preseason poll, a total of 5 SEC teams made the top 25, led by Kentucky at No. 10. LSU and Mississippi State were in the “also receiving votes” section.
