The new top 25 basketball poll from the AP is out and it’s a historic one.

For the first time in 12 years, Kansas isn’t ranked. Ironically, Missouri is in the top 10 of the new poll.

In addition to Kansas not being listed in the top 25, Duke, Kentucky and North Carolina are also unranked. According to Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio, this marks the first time since 1961 that all four of the traditional college basketball programs are not ranked in the AP poll.

Among SEC teams, Missouri is ranked the highest at No. 10 with Alabama at No. 11 and Tennessee listed at No. 16.

Those three are the only SEC teams ranked this week, however, Florida and Arkansas are mentioned among the teams receiving votes.
