New AP top 25 college basketball poll released
The new college basketball AP top 25 rankings have just been released.
This week in the poll, we’ve got two SEC teams listed in the poll as Tennessee comes in at No. 10 and Missouri is ranked No. 17.
Alabama, Arkansas, Florida and LSU are all listed among the teams receiving votes and just outside of the poll.

I guess they would be #26 looking at the vote tallies, or they could have just shown the top 26.
If they beat Kentucky and Arkansas this week, they will get in.
Should.
Alabama will win one or the other not both. Their depth will ne tested against Arkansas and Kentucky is a whole new team now with Both playing.
One thing I have wondered about. There are what, 130 or so D1 football schools…and what 350 or so D1 BB schools. Yet the rankings are the same for college football and basketball. Just saying, shouldnt the Top 25 become at least the Top 50? Doesnt have the same ring, but still would be better than “others receiving votes”.
I meant the Top 50 in BB of course.
