Arch Manning is the biggest name in the 2023 recruiting class, and a handful of big-time schools are in the mix for his services.

At last check, Alabama, Texas, Georgia, Florida, LSU and Ole Miss were still in the running for his services, and that still appears to be the case.

Per his high school coach, Nelson Stewart of Isidore Newman High School, Manning is still considering those programs and hasn’t narrowed his list just yet (via WGNO):

“He really is open,” said Stewart. “His father came out with a statement basically saying a lot of that is just speculation.”

Stewart added that there’s no likely timeline for Manning to make his decision just yet, either:

“When you talk about all the schools whether it be Georgia, Texas or all of them, the staffs are always expanding,” said Stewart. “All parts of the programs are always expanding, so I think when he’s ready.

“I don’t think there is any sort of timeline right now.”

Manning’s recruitment will continue to draw headlines, as he’s the top-rated QB in the 2023 class. This upcoming fall is going to be an important one for teams hoping to lure the nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning to their program.
