Art Briles reportedly being targeted for college football coordinator job
By Adam Spencer
Published:
Art Briles hasn’t been a college football coach since 2015, when Baylor let him go amid a scandal.
Over the years, his name has been brought up a few times in connection with jobs in the college ranks, but he has never landed another job in college football.
That, however, could be changing. Per a report FootballScoop.com, Briles is in the mix for the open Grambling State offensive coordinator position:

Briles was Houston’s head coach from 2003 to 2007. Then, he took over at Baylor from 2008 to 2015.
He has spent time over the past few years coaching in the Texas high school football ranks and in the Italian Football League.
