Based on updated figures released by one online sportsbook, college football fans should be expecting significantly smaller crowds this season due to the coronavirus pandemic.

SportsBettingDime.com has listed out several over/under average attendance figures for 10 schools and only one figure ranges over 50 percent capacity for each stadium.

Nebraska’s over/under number is 49,140 average attendance which is 55% capacity of Memorial Stadium. The only other number listed below that’s at the 50 percent mark is Neyland Stadium with 43,970 average attendance — which is 50% of Tennessee’s stadium.

For what it’s worth, the sportsbook does seem to believe full stadiums will be allowed at some point this season as the over/under for largest crowd this season has been set at 101,001 by the SportsBettingDime.com.
