The College GameDay crew visited East Lansing, Michigan on Saturday for a monumental Big Ten showdown between Michigan State and Ohio State. Spartans fans arrived on the GameDay set armed with plenty of clever signs, many of which poked fun at former Florida coach and current Ohio State head man Urban Meyer.
Meanwhile, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the SEC Nation crew arrived on the LSU campus for Saturday’s epic clash between the Tigers and the Alabama Crimson Tide. This SEC West rivalry has grown in prominence since 2007, and the LSU faithful were as raucous on the set as many expect they’ll be under the lights in Death Valley on Saturday night.
In case you missed them, here are some of the best signs from the GameDay and SEC Nation sets Saturday morning:
Urban Meyer wears crocs. Apparently he values comfort more than style.
So you’re telling me you bought tickets to the Nickelback concert?
Don’t drink the SEC Kool-Aid. Urban Meyer used to during his time at Florida, and now he cries green tears. I’m no doctor, but that’s not natural.
Now that’s just unreasonable. Have you seen Frozen? It was fantastic.
At least he stays in great shape, right?

Is Nick Saban spelling his name with a dollar sign now like Ke$ha?

Brady Hoke ate it all. All of what, you ask? Don’t ask questions.

You just knew there’d be at least one 300 reference in the crowd Saturday.

There was also bound to be an Urban Meyer/Oscar Meyer wiener sign somewhere in the crowd. Too easy.

That’s an expensive GameDay sign if it’s true.
That just means Coach Meyer has great taste; pumpkin spice lattes are a staple of autumn.

Indiana did beat current SEC East leader Missouri in Columbia in September. The Big Ten is clearly not going to let that one go.

Strong Mean Girls reference by one clever Michigan State fan. Can you believe Mean Girls was released 10 years ago?
We are approaching the holiday season, after all.
Has he never heard of No Shave November? The nerve…
