From 13-0 Alabama to 5-7 Mississippi State, an incredible 12 of the 14 teams in the SEC are going bowling this holiday season.

According to the oddsmakers, seven of them are favored to win. The biggest favorite is the Crimson Tide, despite the fact that they’re in a College Football Playoff national semifinal against Pac-12 champion Washington.

On the other side of the coin, that means five programs from the best conference in America are underdogs heading into their bowl games. Based on what I can see, one of them could be in for a tough matchup. That being said, another has a very good chance to pull the upset and win straight up against the number.

Be sure to watch the video above for some quick commentary on the league’s bowl prospects when it comes to favorites and underdogs.
