It’s not often a player returns to school after winning one of the nation’s top individual awards handed out at the end of the college football season but after winning the 2019 Biletnikoff Award as a sophomore at LSU, Ja’Marr Chase still has to play one season of college football before he can declare early for the NFL Draft.

Justin Blackmon (in 2010 and 2011) and Michael Crabtree (in 2007 and 2008) are the only receivers to win the Biletnikoff Award in consecutive seasons but Chase will have an opportunity to join them this fall if he has another huge season for the Tigers during his junior season.

Chase, along with eight other SEC pass-catchers — including his teammate Terrace Marshall Jr., were honored as selections on the 2020 Biletnikoff Award watch list on Thursday.
