Bobby Petrino in the mix for open FBS coaching job, per report

Bobby Petrino is currently the head coach at Missouri State. But, he could be eyeing a return to the FBS ranks.
The former Arkansas and Louisville coach is reportedly in the mix for an open FBS position, per FootballScoop.com.
Per the report, Petrino’s name has come up in connection with the opening at Akron:
Additionally, multiple sources tell FootballScoop that Bobby Petrino – the former Atlanta Falcons, Arkansas Razorbacks and Louisville Cardinals head coach – is another name to monitor for the Zips’ vacancy. Petrino has his current program, Missouri State, into the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs for the second time this calendar year; the Bears also earned a playoff berth in the spring season.
The article mentions several other candidates for the position, but Petrino is the biggest name on the list.
