After Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence shredded Alabama for 347 yards and three touchdowns in Monday night’s national championship game, the 2019 Heisman Trophy odds required an alteration.

Lawrence unsurprisingly moved into the favorite’s role from a betting perspective, slightly edging out 2018 Heisman runner-up and Crimson Tide signal-caller Tua Tagovailoa. You can see the full list of odds from Bovada below, courtesy of a tweet form OddsShark.

Though the pair of national championship quarterbacks lead the pack by a wide margin, there are a handful of SEC players in early contention for college football’s greatest prize.

Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm has the third-best odds, while Bulldogs running back D’Andre Swift is tied for fifth-best. Alabama receiver Jerry Jeudy is also in the mix, along with backup Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Hurts and Missouri transfer quarterback Kelly Bryant, the latter of whom Lawrence replaced at Clemson back in September.

But considering what Lawrence did as a true freshman this season, he’s the favorite for now.
