The top running back prospect from the state of Mississippi is getting closer to making his decision as Branson Robinson has just announced his updated top five.

While the 5-foot-10, 220-pound Robinson holds scholarship offers from nearly every elite program from the Southeast, the Madison, Miss., native is down to Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Tennessee and Clemson.

The Germantown High School standout is rated as a four-star prospect, the No. 7 running back in the country and the No. 2 overall prospect from Mississippi in the 2022 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Last season, Robinson averaged over nine yards per carry despite the fact he had 121 rushes for Germantown. He finished the season with 1,179 yards and 15 touchdowns in just eight games of action.
