Fans ripped at least one helmet off a player’s head as UNLV and Nevada came together for a post-game brawl following a 33-30 triple overtime victory by UNLV.
It was unclear what sparked the fracas, but UNLV scored a 19-yard touchdown after the Wolfpack kicked a field goal in overtime. Steve Jenkins scored the game-winning touchdown, and had a huge game in the win, with 5 catches for 140 yards and 2 touchdowns, including a 75-yarder.
The win was a strong send-off for UNLV coach Tony Sanchez, who was fired after 5 seasons earlier this week.
They need to get these players off the field. It appeared as if a UNLV player jumped toward the crowd to throw a blow.

Cannon is red. UNLV scores on third down. Rebels, 33-30. And they’re fighting on the field. Hausia Sekona was the most active Wolf Pack player in the post-game fracas. Some Wolf Pack fans throwing snowballs on the field. Ugly end to a classic game.

Steve Jenkins is living a fully-charmed life: 4 catches for 121 yards and two touchdowns, including a walk-off 14-yard TD in overtime.
Fremont Cannon stays red for another year. Tony Sanchez wraps his UNLV tenure winning the cannon three times in five years. https://t.co/2UR4zlm7FK
