Brent Musburger’s voice was absent from ESPN airwaves this past season, as the legendary announcer has retired from broadcasting.

He now resides in Las Vegas, where he has a show about sports gambling and runs other gambling-related ventures. However, he said he misses the press box.

On Tuesday’s episode of “The Paul Finebaum Show,” Musburger said he misses the passion SEC teams have for their favorite teams:

SEC fans already know they’re the best in the country, but having it affirmed by a national broadcaster like Musburger is always nice.

Musburger was with CBS from 1973 to 1990, then moved to ABC and ESPN from 1990 to 2017.
