One of the most intriguing matchups of Week 4 will be when No. 15 Ole Miss travels to take on No. 13 Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Undefeated Ole Miss is coming off a 48-23 victory vs. Georgia Tech. Alabama looked underwhelming in a 17-3 Week 3 win at South Florida.
The Inside College Football crew is evenly split on the SEC West matchup that will have major implications on the standings.

Randy Cross is going with Ole Miss because of a variety of factors.
“As far as which is the most disciplined team coming into this game, it’s Ole Miss. Who’s got the most consistent offense? It’s Ole Miss. Who’s got some of the most impressive defensive players? It’s Ole Miss,” Cross said. “..It’s kind of a sad state of affairs to me in Tuscaloosa.”
Brian Jones also picks Ole Miss because of Alabama’s persistent issues along the offensive line.
“Those O-line issues were prevalent after the 1st ballgame. They were prevalent vs. Texas and again last week. I don’t care team meeting or no team meeting, I think they’re going to continue to linger,” Jones said. “It’s not really a coaching issue. It’s the guys that are actually playing those positions.”
Meanwhile, Rick Neuheisel isn’t ready to abandon ship with Alabama.
“Nick Saban is trying to talk Alabama fans into this will all be well but those eyes are saying otherwise. I’m a devout member of the Church of Saban,” Neuheisel said. ” I believe that they’re going to find an answer.”
Aaron Taylor expects Alabama to sort out its offensive woes and emerge with the victory.
“Alabama is going to get this ship right. If Ole Miss is going to beat them, this is the type of scenario you would want,” Taylor said. “But there’s still a lot of pride in that locker room. They’re trying to figure out what their identity is offensively. I think they do that.”
Ole Miss at Alabama is slated for Sept. 23 at 3:30 p.m. EST and will be televised on CBS.
