With Week 2 of the college football season behind us, that means an updated batch of bowl projections from CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm.

Among SEC teams last week, Palm had Alabama in the Orange Bowl against Oklahoma and Georgia in the Cotton Bowl against Ohio State as he projected the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs in the College Football Playoff. In his latest projections, Alabama and Georgia are still playoff teams, with the Tide remaining as a No. 1 Playoff seed and taking on No. 4 seed Oregon in the Cotton Bowl. The Dawgs, projected as the No. 3 seed, are projected by Palm to face No. 2 seed Oklahoma.
