The 2022 NFL Draft will be here before we know it, and as always, a number of elite SEC stars will hear their names called in Round 1.

On Tuesday, CBS Sports analyst Ryan Wilson updated his Round 1 mock draft projections and he included 13 SEC standouts.

As you can see below, he has 4 Texas A&M players, 2 Alabama players, 2 Georgia players and 1 player each from LSU, Florida, Ole Miss, Arkansas and South Carolina going in the first round:

  • No. 3 — Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU — Houston Texans
  • No. 4 — DeMarvin Leal, DL, Texas A&M — Detroit Lions
  • No. 9 — Kaiir Elam, DB, Florida — Washington Football Team
  • No. 10 — Matt Corral, QB, Ole Miss — Pittsburgh Steelers
  • No. 11 — Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas — Philadelphia Eagles
  • No. 12 — Christian Harris, LB, Alabama — Philadelphia Eagles
  • No. 17 — Kingsley Enagbare, DL, South Carolina — Las Vegas Raiders
  • No. 18 — Kenyon Green, OL, Texas A&M — New York Jets
  • No. 23 — Jalen Wydermyer, TE, Texas A&M — Los Angeles Chargers
  • No. 27 — Derion Kendrick, CB, Georgia — Cleveland Browns
  • No. 31 — Isaiah Spiller, RB, Texas A&M — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • No. 32 — Jordan Davis, DL, Georgia — Kansas City Chiefs

The draft is still a few months away, so we’ll see which SEC players hurt and which players help their draft stock in the next several weeks.
