Two major non-conference clashes and an SEC East battle highlight the weekly slate for the SEC. Those matchups have ESPN’s resident handicapper Chris “The Bear’ Fallica excited for what lies ahead.

The top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs will head to South Carolina for a noon kickoff. Georgia is a 24-point favorite and has won six of seven against the Gamecocks and the Bear isn’t optimistic about the home underdog here. “I just don’t know how South Carolina will be able to slow that team down,” Fallica said.

Texas A&M against Miami is the big game of week and also the most intriguing with so many question marks surrounding Texas A&M’s offense and the Aggies quarterback situation. Texas A&M is a 5.5-point favorite. “The fact that A&M couldn’t get Appalachian State off the field last week, everybody in the world is badmouthing Jimbo,” Fallica said.

Auburn is a three-point underdog and the Bear seems to be high on the Tigers hosting their first Big Ten opponent at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Fallica is also interested in the home underdog in what could be an offensive struggle. “If you go back to the last seven regular-season games under James Franklin, Penn State is 2-5 when they are favored by less than seven points.”
