Chuck McDonald is starting to narrow down his recruitment.

The talented cornerback shared his list of top 10 programs on Friday evening. McDonald is still considering a trio of SEC programs in Alabama, Tennessee and Texas A&M. Oregon, USC, Notre Dame, Stanford, UCLA, Ohio State and Michigan also made his top 10.

It’s still very early in the 2025 recruiting cycle, but McDonald is shaping up to be a key recruit for multiple SEC programs in the coming months. According to Rivals, McDonald is “nearing a decision soon.”

Here’s his announcement:

McDonald is one of the top cornerbacks in the country for the class of 2025. He’s the No. 122 overall player and the No. 17 cornerback in the country for the class of 2025, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 12 player from the state of California.

McDonald attends Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. He’s listed at 6-foot, 180 pounds. He took multiple visits to College Station in 2023. McDonald also made trips to Alabama, USC and Miami over the past year.
