The USA TODAY Coaches Poll was released Sunday after the completion of Week 10 on Saturday night and, as usual, the SEC was all over the poll, with 9 teams from the conference being included in the top 25.

After Oregon stayed at No. 1 with a methodical victory at Michigan, Georgia was the first SEC team at No. 2 after fighting off pesky Florida in the annual rivalry game in Jacksonville on Saturday. Ohio State was at No. 3 after its mammoth victory at Penn State, followed by Miami at No. 4 after the Hurricanes stayed perfect by blowing out Duke.

Then came another couple SEC teams, with Texas at No. 5 after having a bye in Week 10 and Tennessee at No. 6 after the Volunteers survived a scare from Kentucky at Neyland Stadium.

Penn State fell 4 spots to No. 7 after that heartbreaking loss to Ohio State, while idle Notre Dame, BYU and Indiana filled out the No. 8 through 10 spots, respectively.

Then it was back to the SEC for the next 3 spots, with Alabama at No. 11, followed by Ole Miss and LSU at No. 13. The Crimson Tide and Tigers will duke it out this Saturday night in Death Valley, with the loser likely falling out of contention for a College Football Playoff spot.

Texas A&M fell 5 spots to No. 16 after its 7-game win streak was snapped with Saturday night’s blowout loss at South Carolina. Missouri checked in at No. 22, and the last SEC team in the poll was the final team of the poll, as Vanderbilt jumped back into the poll at No. 25.

South Carolina, fresh off that upset win over Texas A&M, received 33 votes for the poll.
