Cole Cubelic is celebrating a birthday Sunday, but that didn’t stop him from doing his weekly SEC takeaways.
Happy birthday today to a terrific trio of ESPN analysts:

The SEC Network analyst takes to Twitter every Sunday to share his thoughts on how the conference teams looked on Saturday. Week 4 featured another full slate with all 14 teams in action, including rivalry clashes between Arkansas and Texas A&M and Florida and Tennessee.
Here’s what Cuebelic had to say about what he saw from every team:
ARKANSAS: Fumble & bad snap just brutal. Fought hard. OL played well, saw lots of movement & extra defenders added late. Skill guys needed to create explosives in space. Drops hurt. QB was fine. 40/42/10 solid on defense. Got to QB. Giving up the big plays hurt. Had chances.

FLORIDA: Tough loss. Fought hard. No quit. Thought 15 grew up a lot. Some big throws in some very big moments. WRs stepped up big. Ground game not consistent enough. Some leakage up front. 51 being back was huge. Busts in the back end just can’t happen. Needed answers for QB runs

KENTUCKY: Started slow then hit stride. Better win than they’ll get credit for. QB continues to make it go. Run game up & down, help on the way. 9 is just big time, changes the dynamic. Will need to be better vs run this week, that group is NO JOKE. Ball security must improve.

MISSISSIPPI STATE: Handled their business. 2 is unreal. The precision is off the charts. Couple crazy good throws. WR mix is super deep. Big day for 14 & the LB core. Nice bounce back day for the special teams. Tempo seemed to get going & add to the success on off. 13 underrated

OLE MISS: Handled their business. Added some QB runs to an already filthy rushing attack. RBs are big time. Love 4! 2 look to have better command overall. Shut down a solid passing attack, QB leaving changed things. Front 7 misfit some runs. Seemed to be some confusion at times.

TENNESSEE: Just a huge win. Massive mo for program! Neyland the way it’s meant to be! QB off the charts good. Made great decisions & extended plays. Needed 15 & he showed up! To be that good on off w/o 4 huge. Proved they aren’t over reliant. Middle of DL VERY pleasant surprise

VANDERBILT: Could not find enough protection to get it going. Run game not there to help. TEs were solid, helped on perimeter. 91 did some nice things early. I’m fine with the plan to get Swann ready. Did feel like mobile QB might have helped at times. 14 needed more targets.
